Frequently asked questions

+Why does your total look different from other CS2 inventory calculators?

Most calculators use third-party marketplace prices from sites like Buff163, Skinport, or DMarket. Those prices run 10-30% lower than Steam Market because those platforms charge lower fees and operate differently. We show you Steam Market prices by default, the same number you see when you hover over a skin in your own inventory. That's why our total looks higher, and why it's the number that actually matches your daily reality as a player.

+How do I check my CS2 inventory value?

Enter your Steam ID, full profile URL, or username on the CSNetworth home page and click Check Inventory. We pull your public CS2 inventory and price every item using live Steam Market data.

+Why is my CS2 inventory private?

Steam inventories are private by default. Open your Steam profile, go to Edit Profile → Privacy Settings, and set Inventory to Public. After that, CSNetworth can read it.

+How often do CS2 skin prices update?

We cache each item's Steam Market price for one hour. When you check an inventory, any item not seen in the last hour is re-fetched from Steam in real time.

+What is the most expensive CS2 skin?

Rare knives and gloves in Factory New, along with covert rifles like the AWP Dragon Lore and StatTrak M4A4 Howl, regularly sell for thousands of dollars. Souvenir versions of major-tournament drops can reach six figures.

+How do I find my Steam ID?

Open your Steam profile in a browser. The URL contains either a 17-digit number (your SteamID64) or a vanity name like steamcommunity.com/id/yourname. Either format works on CSNetworth.

+Are CS2 skin prices from the Steam Market?

Yes. All prices shown are pulled directly from the official Steam Community Market in USD using the lowest current listing and median sale price.

+What does StatTrak mean?

StatTrak™ skins have a counter that tracks the number of confirmed kills made with that weapon. StatTrak versions are rarer and typically worth significantly more than the standard skin.

+How is my CS2 inventory total calculated?

We multiply each marketable item by its current lowest Steam Market listing (falling back to the median sale price), then sum the totals. Non-marketable items are excluded.
